About Journal

The Journal of Management and Labour is an independently prepared journal and will be published twice a year. The primary aim of the journal is to publish critical and distinctive manuscripts in Turkish or English. The Journal focuses on ‘organization studies', ‘human resources management’ 'strategic management!" 'sociology of management and work", 'psychology of management and work', ‘labour relations’, ‘labour and managerial economics’, 'the history of labour relations', 'management and corporate history", ‘equality and diversity’. In addition to academic manuscripts, book reviews and communications will be published.

The journal’s core focus is on the analysis of work, employment, and labour dynamics within their social, economic, and organizational settings. In this regard, the journal particularly welcomes contributions in the following areas:

  • Industrial and labour relations
  • Sociology of work and labour processes
  • Labour economics and labour markets
  • Equality, diversity, and inclusion
  • Management and organization studies in relation to work and employment
  • Human resource management and employment policies

The journal also considers theoretical and empirical studies addressing the historical and legal dimensions of work and employment.

The Journal of Management and Labour is an independent academic publication committed to the principles of academic integrity and scientific autonomy.

In addition to original research articles, the journal publishes book reviews and review essays.

The journal also publishes thematic and special issues, which may be managed by guest editors with relevant expertise.

The Journal of Management and Labour does not charge any article processing or publication fees.
